ghost love
poetry
she is a garden unlacing herself in vines stands with summer storms tied through knots of thorns cannot escape his hold haunting down the shrubs she feels him thundering her low heartbeat — awake, he's the ghost appearing in her dreams at night, she's seen him there before singing a gentle lullaby — impending silence fills her heart thrumming in her chest oh, she's longing to shine! right in his long-lost warmth the roads stray far as one horizon's line she yearns to roam! where the murmurs sought the two of them, once more, once more into nothingness voids of love — she'll take all he's willing to give if only a shadow lurking against her softened branches hanging limply just by, defeated, she closes her eyes he gazes elsewhere but he's still there, still there.
thank you for reading <3

this was a haunting poem (fr) it gave me hades and persephone vibes, but persephone is spending 6 months on earth and hades misses her ♥️
oh my god this is insanely beautiful
